No matter what life throws at you, you should NEVER think about suicide. Life is just that: a game with ups and downs. If you can come out of the downs with your head on high, that means you have endured and have passed your test and now you are stronger. Do you see how the little animals face the harsh winter? Do they all give up hope as soon as the first snowflakes come down? No, they prepare, they work hard in order to survive. They accept is as a part of nature. After the storm the sun will come out. You might not care about your life, but do you care about your mother? How about does who love you? Would it be fair to them? When you have problems, you should know that there is always help. There's always people out there who want to help you. If you are currently struggling, I suggest that you attend church services and get the following book from the library: The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren. You can email me with anything. God bless you.

Whats the problem? Why do you think so?

You yourself said that you know it is a stupid act. So why, at times, you feel to commit suicide?

If you do not know the reason of your temptation, remember the lines below:
Suicide is a kind of running away from your duties/responsibilities. Are you a coward? No! You should and you can face the problems ahead of you, rather than running away from those.
Suicide will not be a happy step for anybody around you. How can you make your parents unhappy with such a immature decision?
Lastly, there are great things in this world. Look at those. Look at all the positive things around you. Try to be positive. Be realistic and confident about yourself. This will help you get away from such 'suicide' thoughts.

Been there done that but I relized that there was more to life than just ending it, cuz in the long run it would just make things worse for the rest of my family and friends. It's not worth it. since i had that episode ive gotten married got a child on the way, and my wife has a wonderful 3 year boy that only knows me as dad, and that's a great feeling. just be smart about things, dont be selfish.

You are so loved by your mom. It is nice that you want to put her mind at ease.

The only way she will relax with you now is if she sees you busy and happy. Reassure her that you have found meaning in something: school, friends, books, hobbies, music. Share a little bit of the new you with her! Let her see for herself that you have changed.

Parents are so insecure....they need reassurance over and over again. Be patient .....she will come around. You gave her a scare.

Sit down and have a talk with your Mom. Tell her you were going thorough some tough times and thought that suicide would help, tell her you've moved on from that time in your life and you really wish that she will stop looking into the past because it hurts you.

Find a way to cinvince your mom in any way possible that you would never try to do that again but keep in mind that that just shows that she cares about you and doesnt want you to make a huge mistake.

That's called trauma.

Every time you even look a little bit sad, your mom is going to automatically remember that one time her baby tried to kill herself.

You scarred her, and you have to live with it. I'd say to talk it over with your mom, but it's not going to change the feelings that she has.

Your mom should worry about you. That means she cares. If you want people to understand that you are not going to commit suicide then you have to show signs of maturity and handling your problems appropriately.

I think taking you own life away is stupid! God put you on this earth for a reason. You need theropy. and if you dont want to waist all your money on someone telling you something that you already know then go to church!
