My hair is a brown/reddish shade..but my eyebrows are DARK and black. It looks really weird..is there anything i can buy to make them a bit lighter and less dominant?

Eyebrows are normally darker than your hair color. Yours do not sound strange to me. If you want, you can color them the same as you would your hair. But you might have to bleach out the color first. I still suggest leaving them alone. They are just perfect the way they are. They should highlight your eyes and they do that when they are darker, not lighter.

dye them. Dye them the way you die hair. But first, test the dye on a small eyebrow hair strand to test it so that you can make sure the color turns out right and the nhair doesnt fall out or anything.
Or you could use foundation and use it to blend over the eyebrows so you cant see them(trust me, shaving them off is the last thing you wanna do. however if some eyebrow hairs get plucked out by accident, apply castor oil to areas that you want hair to grow. this will help a bit.) then, use an eyebrow pencil that 's the color of th shade you want, and draw an eyebrow on.

Most people will say to match your eyebrows to your hair, but since your hair is black, it can look way too dramatic to shade your eyebrows such a dark color. You don't want to look like a drag queen. I have black hair, and I use a medium brown eyeshadow which is also slightly muted/gray. I use a small angled brush to shade in my brows. Start out with light strokes and gradually build it up until you are comfortable with the darkness.

I've bleached my eyebrows myself before and I've also done it at the salon...
At the salon sometimes you pay tons of money and you get practically no results, sometimes you do it yourself and you overbleach them... I say bleach them yourself via a process of trial and error until you find the perfect shade.
Otherwise, go to the salon and have them coloured but be sure to go somewhere that is totally recommended!

buy beard and mustache dye...but i have to warn you...unless you are familiar with dying hair you'd best leave it to a professional. You might end up with no eyebrows at all...lol

Never bleach them yourself!!!!!!Period.
Get saloon advice......
However i tweave mine small and use an eyebrow pencial
