If the pain originates from the lower back, transverses your butt and goes down the back of your leg, it's probably sciatica, or a pinched or inflamed sciatic nerve, which is an extremely painful condition that can affect your posture in extreme cases.
There's not much that can be done for it by traditional western doctors. They'll tell you to have back surgery, which will only cause you more problems in the long run.
I'd strongly suggest finding a good Asian-trained accupuncturist. My Husband suffered, and I mean suffered, from this daily for over 10 years. He disliked doctors. One day he got it into his head to try a well trained Korean doctor and accupuncturist who
was recommended to him. After the first session he reached down and touched his toes, something that he had NEVER been able to do, even prior to the sciatica! In 6 sessions he was completely cured of the pain, and it didn't come back!
I'd suggest getting a traditional diagnosis, then look for a place for accupuncture sessions, if it is sciatica. Good luck with it, I know that it's extremely painful and distracting.
Happy Holidays!
