the only difference is that you would have to have a power converter because the power plug is different in america

All you'll need is a plug convertor and you might wanna check that the PS3 hasn't got a regional transformer in (You don't wanna blow the power supply out with 240 volts!) But our games the US games are all the same as are the PS3's, no more stupid PAL regional stuff

As long as you take along a converter for connection to the power supply as theirs is a 220 volt system.

well, technical differences aside...there isnt a law against it (as yet).......one day, it will be a crime, to use the wrong codec, in the wrong country, when commercial intellectual rights, over take human rights...eventually?
