I am a grandmother with teen grandchildren. You need to sit her down quietly, tell her how much you love her but that she embarrasses you when she tells the stories. She probably just thinks it's cute and doesn't realize she is upsetting you. Ask her if you and she could reminisce when you are alone together and for her to tell you stories about her youth. Always go to the source of your unhappiness and talk it out. Communication is the savior of all relationships, in my opinion. Good luck and have a merry Christmas.

Karrie, At sometime when you can get grandmother alone, simpley tell her, without accusing her, about how you feel when she tell these stories. for instance...."GM, I know you think those stories of my childhood are funny, but it is embarrassing to me, especially when my boyfriend is around. As a favor to me, please do not do that anymore. If you want to tell those funny stories, just do it when I am the only one around. I know you love me alot, so I know you wouldn't want to embarrass me."

Just tell her very nicely that this is embarrassing to you. Grandmothers were once young (ourselves) and I bet she will understand. I am sure she does not realize - so tell her.

She is your grandmother and to her, those are great memories. Let her enjoy her time and explain to your boyfriend, she loves to talk about the past and laugh with her.
