Buy him Eragon (the book), or one of the Series of Unfortunate Events series. If he's into video games, buy him one of those.

13 Year old Boys like sports, girls, and money. You could give him:
Gift Card to Modell's, The Mall, or an American Express gift card.
You could get him Money.
A basketball, skateboard, snowboard, football, soccer ball, or something that has to do with his favorite sport.
Clothes from a good department store like Boscov's.
Sneakers, depending on what he does. If he skateboards get
him a nice pair of Etnies, Adios, or other skating shoes. If he plays soccer get him new stylish kleets, possibly his team colors.
Jerseys..no matter if its Football, Basketball, Soccer, or Hockey all boys like at least some kind of sport!

Wal-Mart has this really awesome Raptor dino. Fully automated i think remote comtrolled...it's like 3 ft tall or more....it's about as big as my 4 1/2 year old...lol. It is really cool. Radio Shack has it also. My nephew likes the Harry Potter stuff...maybe the set of books or the 4 movies they have out now.....hope that helps

It actaully realy depends! like you can buy him an I Pod or MP3 player or just ask him what would he want 4 christmas! Well thats how i resolved my x-mas gift crisess!
