Nine year old girls love make-up toys, board games, and those things. They don't usually like barbies, but if you are going with a doll I would buy a MyScene or a Bratz. They like fake make-up, and games like Chutes and Ladders, Monoply, Guess Who, Trouble, and Sorry. I was 9 two years ago and thats what I loved!

My girls are 10 but they really want an iPod and a tomogotchi. Last year, it was Doodlebears. And stuffed animals are always a hit.

I recommend getting her something that she could make.
for example; a lip gloss maker, a doodle bear, candle maker set, ect.
This year, I got a build-a-bear workshop gift card for my brothers 9 year old girl.

What does she like?
Books, jewelry box, watch, Xbox or Nintendo games, A WEBKIN, diary/journal, games you can play plugged into your tv, scene it games, things you can make: beads, loom, hooked rug for kids, paintset.
Ask her parents.
