Of couse Intel want to have its own graphic chip integrated. Why would it want a Nvidia or Ati chip in its laptop? ----They're still competitor. Besides it's cheaper to have a Intel video chip than Nvidia or Ati. Most people doesn't even know how bad the Intel Integrated graphics is, they didn't realize the importance of the video card in a PC.

Some Intel laptops do have the Nvidia Geforce graphics card but it is the more expensive ones. Having a separate graphics card adds significantly to the price but also increases the graphics significantly. I have a Dell Precision M65 with an Nvidia Geforce graphics card but I paid extra for it.

AMD has bought ATI (Nvidia's competitor) so you won't see any AMD computers that have Nvidia cards anymore. However, Intel is not tied to either vendor but will have a strong leaning toward integrated graphics or the Nvidia cards.
