I've always been an impatient person, since birth. Christmas is the hardest for me. I love giving gifts as much as I like getting them. Of course Christmas is a time where you get and give a lot, (depending on the size of your family, how many friends you have, and your financial situation of course especially if you have a big family and lots of friends!)
Anyway, I once broke into my parents room (the put a lock up to keep us kids out) just to see what they had in there. It backfired on me because what I thought was mine was going to my borther's girlfriends! But I've always made attempts to peek, or harrass the gift giver for clues.
As for giving, once I have the gift, I can't wait to give it to that person to make them smile. Sometimes I wind up giving it to them before Christmas. I always put thought into my gifts, even when it's a bad year money wise for me. I get gifts that are personal to each person.
This year however, I know I won't be getting gifts except from my parents, and that's OK. I live far away from my family and friends. However, my daughter is a toddler now and old enough to tear into her gifts and have a blast. I started her shopping in October because I was so excited for Christmas and wanted to make sure I could get the toys I wanted her to have And I needed time to browse and shop around to familiarize myself with what toys are out there for her age group. I've already given her 3 of them just because I can't stand waiting!
So this year is all about giving for me. Enjoying watching my daughter, just the 2 of us. It will be a great Christmas!

Nobody got you stuff off your list? I know my mom got me one thing--don't laugh, but I found this really adorable teddy bear and told my mom I had to have it :). Other then that, I'm in the dark. I also can't wait until my little siblings open their presents--I found some good stuff for them. And I got my cats presents. Way fun! Mostly, I can't wait to have Christmas dinner. My grandmother cooks a killer meal! I get hungry just thinking about it. :)

I'm dying of suspense. I didn't have a christmas list or anything, so everyone was up to work it out on their own for me. I just hope that it wont be boring things. I'm practically going to burst with exitement.
