Adversity can be a catalyst to aquire a better life but it can also be an road block to it. If someone is faced with tremendous adversity, they might work to overcome it, but it could also likely overcome them to the point that a better life is not possible. It depends on the person, the adversity and the outside help the person may or may not receive. Overcoming adversity does make you stronger, which can make you more successful, but failure to overcome, through no fault of your own, can destroy you.

there are as many people trying to get your jobs as there people trying to get your money after you earn it, adversity is the struggle to keep it and not loose it, and to struggle with adversity to improve how u earn it and try to improve how much u earn and then try and hold off the people trying too get it away from u with out doing anything but out smarting u for it is this wrong wording i guess this is supposed to be "American" instead of "adversity"
