its been three weeks and i already got advise from some people on here. if you have already answer my other question plz dont answer again. i fell three weeks ago and my leg is still bruised a little but it is still swollen and it hurts but i can walk. I fell on metal bleachers during PE but of course the guys had to be standing right there so i acted like nothing happened and didnt say anything but it is getting really anoying. Christmas is in like 2 days and i am getting a new skate board like thing and i really want to be able to ride it but i dont want to if it will make my leg worse. do you have any idea what i may have done. i kno its kinda hard to kno by just me typing but my parents wont listen to me and keep telling me its just a bruise and it will be gone in a few days. but they said that every day for three weeks...

Something similar happened to one of our daughters a few years ago when she was in university. No one listened to her when she said her leg continued to pain, even though she could walk and so on. After several days she went to emergency on her own, and found out that she had a hairline fracture. She had to wear a cast for several weeks - the kind she could take off to have a shower, etc. Anyway, if your leg is still sore after three weeks there is definitely something wrong, and I think the most likely thing is a hairline fracture.

You don't say which bone it is. If its your thigh bone it is highly unlikely it is broken. It takes a lot of force to break that bone and a fall on metal bleachers is unlikely to break it (unless it was a long fall). You can fracture a bone in your leg and still be able to walk on it. If the swelling has not improved nor the pain in 3 weeks I think it should be looked at by a doctor just to make sure that everything is ok and that there isn't a hair-line fracture. In all reality you are probably fine and just have a deep bruise (especially if you hit your shin).

take the wheel and anything she could climb on out. just leave her alone, she will be fine. we had a russian dwarf and she got smooshed under her wheel and looked almost dead, but she lived to be a year old, so i am sure your's will be fine. just make sure there is nothing for her to run or climb on in the cage. just a food bowel and water. if u have a tube cage(like habitrail or crittertrail) take the tubes off and cap the holes, that way she cant try to climb. leave her alone for a few days or until her leg appears better. then u can add back on the tubes and climbing things. then about 2 days after u put back in the cage asscessories, add the wheel back in. she should be fine.

Under the circumstances, the ONLY way to tell if your bone is broken is to get an x-ray!!! NO one and I mean NO ONE can tell you if it is broken or not without an x-ray.

Convince you mom, day or even the coach that you need it
x-rayed. IF it is broken and you get no help, it may eventually grow back crooked. Good luck. Pops.

It could just be a sprain. But if it was then it problably would have gone away by now. You should have the doctor check it out and tell your parents to stop being stupid.

The only way to tell if you have a fracture, hairline to a simple fraction is to have an xray taken.

chill out let your body have a rest and don't worrie about it . if you don't want to push it on the new toy don't . when your leg is healed you will still have a new skate board and you will enjoy it more if you don't have to worry about your injury .
