I have this minor sweating problem....
I sweat [underarms] and it's really annoying, as it shows up on all my clothes...
I use a deodorant with an antipersperent in it, but it doesn't help.
I shave regularly as well, hopefully it's not some age thing...

HELP!

If you are going through puberty it could be hormonal....and temporary. If it bothers you excessively go to your MD and see if they can help you. In the meantime, you could use a pantyliner in the armpits of your shirts if they would not be noticed and cause embarrassment. I have done this under sweaters or turtlenecks etc and it really helps. Good Luck!!

Deodorant will only keep you from having body odor from the sweat. Unfortunately, there is little you can do to keep from sweating. It's the body's natural coolant, but you can sweat if you get nervous or become upset over something. You say "some age thing"...could it be menopause? If that is possible, it is gonna get a lot worse than just your underarms. Wearing light colored or loose fitting clothing might help conceal the perspiration. Take extra clothing along to change into if it becomes unbearable.

omgsh. noo way/. i have that problem too...i thought i was all alone in the world. well, i know what you mean by how nothing works. the strongest non-perscription deoderant persentage is 20% and that isnt enough for me, so then i got something online called MAXIM, which worked okay for a while. but then it didnt work at all after a week. later, i went to a doctor and they prescribed this stuff called HYPERCARE to me. i am 13 though, so they dont let me have certain ones. this deoderant does work, but it burns and itches and irritates my skin sooooo badly. i have stopped using it and i have currently gone to the doctor about this because i hate it so much, i have many breakdowns from it. so they are going to see if they have any pills i can take to keep the sweating down, or getting botox injections. its like a shot, im not sure if you've heard of it. i guess this is just something that happens during puberty. i want it to go away. so if i get a solution to my problem, them i will be sure to tell you.

good luck =]

Buy Certain-Dri it is the best ever!!!!! I used to be like you..i'd wear sweaters even if it was hot because the sweat would show in my shirts.. it was so embarassing.. sometimes i would keep my arms down no matter what because i was very very embarassed. I tried every deodorant that exists...but nothing worked for me..only that certain-dri you can buy it at walmart or HEB for like 6 dollars...You won't regret it...oh and that problem about the sweat it's called hyperhidrosis.

Try an extra strong anti persperant, such as Certain Dri. At most retail stores (like Target, etc). If this doesn't work, there is a type of surgery that deadens the nerves that cause sweating in your underarms.... if it is really bad, you could as your doctor about it.

There is a condition called 'hyperhydrosis'....which means increased or un-natural amounts of perspiration. Some people are bothered with it to the extent that they have sweat glands surgically removed. Not all people experience excessive sweating in the same areas....some have 'wet' hands ... it varies as to the person.

your doctor can give you a prescription for deodorant that's stronger than what you can buy in the store. if it's really extreme you can get injections of botox under your arms. the affects of that i believe has only been shown to last 12 months at the most though. and it's expensive.

A dermatologist is the best solution for this. There is a prescription product called Drysol Anti-Perspirant. It works wonders for your problem. Also Mitchum is over the counter and also one recommended by a Dr.

I know someone with this problem and they use Mitchum deodorant - it works VERY WELL. They make it for men and women. I have heard people say this is the only thing that works for this issue. TRY IT!
