However, if you don't believe any of the answers that say so, make something up. While you're at it, consider what that butterfly clip and pointy tip will feel like resting against your gum on the inside. Then consider it grating along your gum and teeth as you talk, eat, drink, yawn, sneeze, bleed...you get the idea now, don't you?

No! The gauge and the length are too small. The metal is wrong, and it's completely unsanitary! You need to go to a professional for a lip piercing hun. The chance of infection and complication from piercing your own lip, with improper materials no less, is incredibly high!

Don't do it!
If you don't know how to pierce you lip, then it probably won't turn out so well.
Ears, if you mess them up, can heal without much inconvenience.
Lips...ow. Mess this up, and you could have a lot or trouble.
I don't think that lips call for normal earrings, by the way.

you can get an infection,if you want your lip pierced,just go to a piercing shop!!=S

I wouldnt suggest it...but you would pierce it like you would an ear. As in icde and potato/apple. it would be extreamly painful and something might go wrong. not including the infection you might get.

that is how i did my eyebrow. I dont recommed it. but if you do do it make sure to get alot of bactracin and rotate it everyday and clean out the effection. and have the elaby earring ready for instant put in when you do it. i dont know where to do it and i dont recommend doing it. its worth getting it professionaly done for like 30 bucks.
