No. If you are not getting any extra pay, then what's the point?
If I would work on Christmas Eve, then I had better be getting paid at least triple.(I'm making a point here)

Unless you want to risk your job I would. Lots of people work the holidays with no extra pay. I had to work once as a waitress on both Christmas Eve & day w/o extra pay. It ticked me off but as it turned out I was able to make someone else feel better by talking to them while they were far from home so it was worth it. In Huntington, W.V. there are a bunch of jews that volunteer their time to work in place of someone wanting Christmas off. Then there's a bunch of people in Ashland, Ky. from various religions or none at all that volunteer more than a full shift on Thanksgiving & Christmas to make sure no one has to eat alone and/or go hungry on those days. It's all in the attitude. No one likes to work on a holiday especially when there's nothing extra in it for them. But I'm a firm believer in nothing happens by chance good or bad. So I say the serenity prayer & accept it. It's not worth getting fired over & who knows you might find a miracle where you least expect it. But not if your heart is hardened in the anger & injustice.

If you want to, yes.
The money is handy.
Then, look for a job where they are decent enough to pay properly and when you have actually got the job, tell your old boss that you " were not totally enamoured with with the inadequate remuneration system whereby the management were in total ignorance of the basic needs of human beings.
Watch his face.

I would if I were depended upon or needed the quid. I have a mate working from 10pm until round 7AM Christmas AM--if his replacement shows up.
I will prolly travel down to keep him company because he will be completely alone after about midnight. Poor sod.
A Merrily joyous, barking mad, wickedly happy Christmas to everyone who celebrates, working Christmas even or not!

I suppose it depends on your job, and also if you have lots to do at home. I know if I had no kids or husband than I might think about it. But having said that Sunday is a day of rest!!
Whatever you do ENJOY and MERRY CHRISTMAS...

if you need the money, yes. If you don't or want to do something else, yes. I guess it's better than being required to come in on chrstmas. Unless you were jewish
