okay well i proably sound stupid asking this but what is whipped? cause i was with my bf yesterday and everyone kept saying im whipped anyone know what it means?

You don't sound stupid, it's good to understand what people are trying to say about you.
Whipped is usually used for guys who really cater to their girls wants and even allow their girls to insult them and still bounce back, kinda like a puppy. For a guy it shows his "lack of masculinity" for being controlled by his girl.
This term is used less on girls because society is okay with girls changing themselves or the way they act for their man. But the definition for a girl to be whipped is the same. You cater to your guy, possibly too much, and are controlled by him. I'm not saying you are, the people who said this may be exaggerating, but that's what it means.

Being whipped is listening and following whatever someone else says even though you know it might be wrong. It is usually a bf/gf situation.

Just because you will do just about anything for the person you love. When you do things for this person that you wouldn't normally do or things that are just out of your character. That's what is considered whipped.

It means either:
1) You are a pushover and do whatever bf wants. usually it's used in context of man being dominated by their gf
or
2) it is when your mom or dad spank you with a belt
