Have you ever seen a bell choir play "Carol of the Bells"?

You know..the people with the gloves picking up the bells and ringing them? If so, was it like the coolest thing you've ever seen?

Yes, it's very cool. I'm always impressed at how much more sounds there seems to be than what is being made by the bells. I guess it's the harmonics or something.

I was actually IN the bell choir when we played it. Boy was it nerve wracking !! It's a really tough one. But definitely worth it because you're right...it sounded awesome.

yes, there are a couple of church's i have locally that has a special choir of bell ringers. i too think they are VERY awesome.

well i suppose if its a real bellchoir its pretty entertaining. in my case, however, it was at a crowded christmas service and the hormone-charged seventh grade class was playing them. i got quite a different impression.

Yes, and I agree, it was incredible....I went with someone, not really being interested, but after wards I was blown away.....Could you believe how great it sounded and how precise they all were....Glad someone else had that good experience.......
