I live In NY. I dont think there are any Carl Jr's near me. But I have heard of them because I think Paris Hilton did a sexy commerical for them. I totally agree with you though. And if I had a Carl Jr's near me. I would NOT eat there. I agree with the other poster about Hooters. That place is extremely degrading to woman. I mean hello? HOOTERS? The name says it all I will never give that company any of my money ethier.
And dont listen to these jerks that are calling you a lezbo. What do these guys know? Those guys obviously eat at Carl Jr's AND Hooters and not think any different because they are stupid men. Its a perverted mans dream. Scantily clad woman flirting and serving you food. And having scantily clad woman in your commericials will make them come running! That doesnt mean there is anything wrong with you if you recognize how degraded woman are in this day and age and you feel something is wrong with that..Im with you on this one :)

The commercials aren't just sexist, they are stupid-ist... Anyone with an IQ over 92, someone who understands that all Mexicans are not rapists, and who don't think that POW's are't losers, will agree that they appeal to the lowest common denominator in our country.
These are the folks who eat at Carl's Jr. because of their commercials:
The man who tells you that you have, "nice ****", while you try to pay for your fuel at a gas station. The man who pretends it was an accident when he pinches your *** in the subway. The sad, pathetic, scary man who follows you home and sits in the bushes jacking off while you carry your groceries in from the car.
These are your people, Hardees/Carls Jr. I am not your people.

i do no longer learn with regard to the categorised categorised classified ads, yet i think of Hardee's and Carl's Junior are very sturdy. I rarerly get extreme abdomen cramps when I consume there, and when I do, I many situations recover from it straight away after realeasing a sprint diarrhea. As for Pizza Hut, i won't consume there because of the fact i even have an allergy to the cheese they use. It motives huge oozing and contaminated boils to errupt for the time of my shrink decrease back, legs and own areas.

I agree with you. The only thing that would change my mind is if Carl's Jr. had a commercial with the opposite take... a bunch of ordinary looking frumpy women talking with their mouths full and whistling at a super hunky boy walking by. Yummy.

Around here it's called Hardee's, and I have only eaten there twice in the past three years, mainly because there isn't one by me (by the way, yes, I am a male answering your question).
Hardee's/Carl's, Jr. really isn't worried about offending your demographic because your demographic was not a significant portion of their customers even before the commercials. I'm not saying your principles are misguided, but generally large corporations calculate their decisions to maximize profit, and their commercials attract the working-class male demographic.

oh, well carl's jr. restaurants are mostly on the western states, here in the east, carl's jr.'s equivalent is a chain called hardee's.(theyre logos are almost the same, probably because they are owned by the same company). and from what i'd heard, that paris hilton commercial was also aired for the Hardee's restaurants, and yes, they are very sugesstive, but i dont eat at either hardees or carl's jr., mostly because they are exteremley unhealthy.

Controversy=sales, men eat out more then women at cheap places, ergo, do a smutty/degrading/sexist commercial tailored towards men, and you get your sales. Just like attractive women in beer commercials yet you never see them drink a drop of it. This makes sales because you remember it when you see their sign/symbol.
Personally, I just ignore commercials unless they're funny, I get a chuckle, then move on, sexist or not. Because ultimately, what can you do? Protest, get in the news, voice your opinions on TV, and just give them tons of free publicity thus counteracting your initial ideals? All I suggest is think to yourself "for shame." then move on.

Well, since I don't have a Carl's Jr. where I live, it doesn't matter. I have seen the commercials and I don't like when ANYONE talks with their mouth full. Still, I would like to try one of those burgers; just to taste bliss before I have a major heart attack! LOL

Wow! You are just like me...I boycott all sorts of things because of the way their commercials have portrayed women. I rarely am around Carls Jr. (only when I visit family in AZ) but I will make a point of not giving them my business. I also don't eat at Burger King (remember the commercial with the girls on the swings holding burgers at boob-level to make sure than men also catch a glimpse of the food while they drool at scantily-clad women??) and I don't drink Pepsi, beer, or basically anything has been advertised during a football game. And Hooters, of course, but that one's a no-brainer. I am fully aware that I don't make a difference to any of these companies, but it makes a difference to ME because at least I am making a tiny stand for what I believe in.

I assume Carl's Jr is a restaurant from your comments. Since I've never seen a commercial of theirs, I make no judgements on their content. However, commercials are designed to be noticed and you've noticed them. Seems they are doing their job even if you don't approve.
