This question is inspired by all the American bashing this evening. What happened to civility, kindness, giving the other fella a break? Do you think there is something inherently funny in blasting other people? Does that make you feel superior and how did you earn it if you do? If you do not like something or someone, do not go around them simple as that...I am sorry if i am rude but I am a little bit peeved right now...

I must tell you that I was just speaking about this the other night with my teacher and we were discussing the morals of society and the generation gap. I have a habit of opening my mouth with bluntness because I can easily sense when someone is having attitude, it's like a curse- not a good feeling because it eats you up inside and ultimately leads to a downfall. I see nothing funny about disrespect, arrogance and ignorance- I had the worst week with my cyberstalker, who really went postal, let me tell ya- it was brutal. Anyway, to make a long story short- how does one earn superiority when the ' id ' is like a firecracker- it blasts in all different directions- it is up to the individual how they present themselves and behave in a said civilized manner, but the problem I see with that theory is that if one is being really serious, another person tells you to lighten up- same principle with lightening up- does this make sense? Picture a set of dominoes all set up and then *whoosh*- they fall, one by one- I firmly believe that kindness does go a long way- a smile, a brief message saying hey, how you're doing, that type of thing- let another person know that you're thinking of them- I feel that compassion is power I do apologize for this huge response though- and to answer your last question, I always use my character identification on the source section, it's something I do.

Oh Honey i hope I haven't offended you or anyone here. All I did was mixing my drink with something else and then went typing on here. No offense intended, I still think before I type.. at least for now. To answer your question though, yes I do give people the benefit of doubt at least as much as I remember.

I really try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but sometimes its hard not to assume the worst in some cases. I really don't know what is up with all this rudeness and nastyness people show others...but some people find that funny...to themselves. I think it makes (hose who are rude and mean) them feel better about themselves. I just basically try to ignore them.

I try to think the best of everyone until they give me repeated overwhelming evidence that they don't deserve the benefit of a doubt.

I always tend to give someone the benefit of the doubt, unless they've burned me. Then I keep them on a short leash.
