There are so many people all alone and so depressed. If only we could know each other, then we would feel so much better... how can I know another person who is alone too????

you know theirs plenty of people who spend xmas alone- but you dont have to, their are better ways to spend it, like going to a soup kitchen to lend a hand, buying blankets for the homeless and handing them out, or bringing food to elderly people or toys to a hospital. Were never truely alone, only those who want to be alone really are.

Buried a bad marriage in March. I'm glad to be off the treadmill.
I found that the season had turned into this manic nightmare of unrealistic expectations. I think of it as an opportunity to redefine the holidays on my own terms.
I'm planning on working, I don't have anywhere better to be.
It's cool, I get a lot done without distractions and work at my own pace. If I get a case of the "screw its", I'm going fishing.

I live in a house with 7 other guy's. My immediate family are all deceased. My ex is remarried and my children are all estranged. Life is tough..I don't drink or drug anymore so I don't make it any tougher. I get joy by giving my neighbors young kids christmas gifts. And I'm also much happier than I've been in a long, long time.

Yes, all my family lives 15 hours away.All my friends are doing stuff with their families so I'm flying solo for Xmas but I really don't mind.It will be an extra day off gives me time to do the things I've been needing to get done.How about you?

I don't know about you, but I almost always feel alone even when surrounded by people. Maybe I just don't fit in. Not sure what it is.

i will be working on chistmas eve and christmas day..i have family but i have come to prefer being alone ..i have a dog and some cats..you can e-mail me if you are lonely..merry christmas

go down to the homeless shelter and see if any of them want to come home with you... maybe it's like the pound you could adopt a few of them to fill in as family and friends
