The Lane Bryant store is limited to size 26-28 ...which is about a 3X. However, for clothing in that size, it would be better to visit the Lane Bryant catalogue site online or some of these sites:

Most of them will do free exchanges if the clothing does not fit well. You can also measure the person for whom you are shopping and give inches that they can translate into sizes. A quick check on Ebay will also provide less expensive items.

There is a store called "3x and 5x" or up. I seen it in a mall in florida, maybe they have a website you could check out! I know at belks, where i work, do have those sizes as well.

women and adult adult males individuals see weight in yet in a different way. i could say right here in u.s. generic is 12-sixteen. finished Figured is eighteen-20. BBW is 22-26. Petite and junior i could say is small, Misses is interior the middle and plus length is the super. yet from the attitude of a guy or woman who's vast or that loves super people like I do. Small to me is a length 14-sixteen Medium to me is a length 18-20 and massive to me is a 22-26. i do no longer initiate thinking or utilising the term obese until length 28 looks.

It is possible to find great clothes at second hand shops. They are barely worn at times, sometimes still have the tags on, but you have to look them over carefully.
