three things, we are moving with the plant so we are already moving at 67,000 mph, next there is no friction in space so there is no wind, which in turn means no damage, last but not least mass of are gravitational pull towards earth. Hope this helps.

Relative motion. Each of us are also travelling at 67,000 mph. In relation to the earth, it doesn't seem like we are moving at all.

If you go that fast on earth you burn up due to friction with the atmosphere. Earths atmosphere travels with it through space at the same speed, since there is no other atmosphere the earth travels through, there is nothing to tear it or burn it up.

There is no air in space so there is no wind tearing by at 67,000 MPH.

in case you go with for an anime that'll make you cry, I recommend Grave of the Fireflies (movie), Code Geass, FullMetal Alchemist (first sequence. i'm no longer able to assert for Brotherhood yet), Romeo x Juliet, Junjou Romantica (once you're into shounen-ai and stuff like that), Wolf's Rain, Eureka Seven, aaand... that's all i can think of of for now. those have slightly each thing in them (giggling, crying, action). in case you go with for a romantic comedy with some unhappy moments, choose for Ouran extreme college Host club!

It is not the speed who tears you apart, is the acceleration!
If you travel in your car at constant speed you don't feel any force, but if you crash you will.

There is no friction in space. There is no air to cause friction.
