Not totally obsolete....Hell, people still own original Atari systems. We own two Super Nintendos...and a Gamecube. Granted, I can only buy used games for the Super Nintendo...but they are still pretty popular. The systems alone are going for around 50 bucks on Ebay.

Well lets be honest. This system was practically obsolete like a year ago. How many games have come out this year....seriously it was a drought. That why Nintendo's big wigs are promising "no drought" for 2007 for the Wii. Legend of Zelda:Twilight Princess is the last game for the system.....This opinion is assumming you mean obsolete as in no more new games. Hey you could always buy a gameboy adapter for the gamecube and play the thousands of gameboy color and advance games on it.

No. Although you can play all Gamecube games on the Wii, you can still only use the Gameboy Player with the Gamecube.
