an adjective is a word that modifies a noun.
A noun is a person, place, idea, emotion, et cetera.
Let's say your noun is "Grandma"...
A = angry grandma
B= bossy grandma
C= crazy grandma
D= dull grandma
E= energetic grandma
F= fat gragrandma
G= gray-haired grandma
H= hairy grandma
I= imaginative grandma
J= jolly grandma
K= knitting grandma
L= loving grandma
M= married grandma
N= naughty grandma
O= outrageous grandma
P= petite grandma
Q= quiet grandma
R= rowdy grandma
S= sweet grandma
T= tough grandma
U= ugly grandma (sorry grannie)
V= vain grandma
W= wonderful grandma
X= xanax- popping grandma
Y= youthful grandma
Z= zippy grandma

an adj. modifies or describes a noun. fat dog, tiny kitten, dirty clothes, new dress, red hat, palm tree,etc. even a noun can be an adj. if it is describing another noun - right in front of the other noun. community guidelines. they're both nouns but community is an adj. it describes guidelines. i've given you a few adjs. betty boop
