I think it's just bebo randomness, it's something I participate in regularly. When bored a person might leave a strange comment on another persons page, it's a bit like tag, for instance, if I leave a comment like that I expect a comment of equal or higher nonsense, each person trying to come up with the weirdest thing they can think of.
Then agian they could just be a crazy person. LOL
Here's an example:
