i have lovely boots with real rabbit fur on them..... i also go fox hunting and would love for Santa to slip a sable under my tree....

Like the other people said, the leather companies get their leather from meat companies, so the cows are dieing anyway. The people who wear fur are responsible for the miserable lives and painful deaths of a number (depending on what animals were killed for the coat, and how many fur coats you own) of innocent animals

Every person in this world is entitled to his or her own opinions and choices, and the choice to wear fur or leather is nobody else's business. Talking about "clubbing" a HUMAN BEING because they choose to wear the hide of an ANIMAL is ludicrous at best and horrifying at worst. VERY skewed priorities. No. Cows aren't raised for thier leather.......that is the difference. May as well use all of the parts since it is already being used for food.
People who wear fur are heartless aholes who should be electrocuted up their butts or gassed like those poor creatures so someone can take THEIR skin. Wouldn't that be lovely? Apparently, it is ok to treat animals like that, and what's good for the goose............

No for two reasons:- Firstly violence never solves anything, Secodly Leather is a byproduct of the meat industry and the animal skins would just go to waste otherwise.

Leather is a by product of cattle farming and would be wasted if we did not use it.
Fur animals are bred just for there fur.
We cannot club each other for eating meat, we are omnivores.
We can club those who exploit animals unnecessarily for a fashion statement.
