I find that Walmart's "Equate" brand works just as well as the name brands out there, like Always or Kotex. I used to use both brands, Always during my menstrual cycle (especially high flow days), and Kotex liners for everyday use. One day I decided to try the Walmart's generic brand "Equate" I found that it was equally absorbant, so I stuck with using it. I don't know if this is the cheapest out there, but I find it economical and equally useful than name brand products.
