Well, not according to my roommate. She is a knockout 36 year old woman who is also a lesbian. She does not need a man in any sense of the term. She has many lesbian friends that do not need men as well.

A lot of women are happy single. I think whatever age I may be, I'll always be happy, single, and free. When you're married or in a relationship, that's when you might get the feeling of being with your guy all the time and I don't want to go through that stress. I want to be carefree and doing what I want always, and being happy by myself, and being surrounded with a very friendly atmosphere. When you're with a guy, you'll have to be faithful and devoted to him, unlike when you're single you can flirt and wink at whichever cutie comes your way!
