my mom decides she wants my bros and i to give her and my aunt money so they can buy some liquor, for the holidays. fine but, how come when we pay she decides she has to hav gran marnier? that sh!t's expensive!

Yeah, a few people. Can't give every detail, but they just take me being nice for granted, and it sucks, because you think everyone would be so curtious to someone lending a hand, or showing love, but not everyone you can trust. I'm still a giver and a keeper regardless.

It's a nasty thought but the truth of the issue is...if you have a kind heart and enjoy helping people, you will be taken advantage of somewhere down the road. When it comes to family, it makes it harder. I find myself with stupid written all over my forehead and about the time I say enough, I go and do it again and so will you. Flip side, you can look in the mirror every morning and know that you've done your best to be a decent person and family member. All this will change when you get tired of this but don't go looking for it any time soon. Happy Holidays to you.

Wow, your experience is really shocking. A mother wanting money from you all just to by liquor? Wow, that's so terrible! I have been taken advantage of and the loser who did it was Taylar. She's this girl at my school and she thinks she can get away with all her crap. Then I found out she was being like this and I wasn't so shocked. She acts really mean sometimes, so it's okay.

sometimes i just wonder, if it's really worth being a nice person and then get ripped off at the end of the day. i really do feel like i'm putting up my integrity and respect for sale

Of course. Everyone has at one time or another, especially by family because we love them and are more willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. I wish my mom were here to take advantage of me again.

yes. I went and help out my best friend son. and let him get a flute to rent out on my credit card. big mistake. they only made one payment. i ended up. playing for it. i took the flute back to the music store. told them i want my money back.$ 200. its been five months. i Finley told them to kiss my assets. 18 years of friend ship down the drain.

i think the question is, who hasn't! i think people take advantage of my niceness, family especially, but they better be careful cuz one day i will explode on them because i've had enough! oh yea and my bf of course takes advantage of this too......
