I see trouble. If your wife had a child at a fairly young age she may not have had a chance to sew her wild oats. Not that it's okay for her to shirk her responsibilities as a mother and wife. Try compromising. Get a babysitter and go out with her. I honestly feel like a wife has no business going out(especially to clubs/bars) without her husband. It's asking for trouble. I would also be aware that she may not be going out with the girls at all. You need to have a serious conversation with your wife.

Then tell her how you feel about it. 3 nights a week is a bit much when you're a wife AND a mother of a young child. Her responsibility is to be a good wife and mother and going out 3 nights a week isn't showing good responsibility on her part. Tell her that you think it'd be best if she'd stay home cuz of the child. (Don't tell her this>) The child needs full attention during that age. I mean c'mon it's only one year outta KDG. The child needs a mother that's there for him/her not just a father. I spent most of my life with just a mother and although I love her dearly I would've liked to gotten to know my father better. He really knew nothing that happened in my life. When you choose best answer on this get your wife to come in here and read your question then read your best chosen answer. That way if you don't want to tell her yourself she will already know. I hope everything works out okay.

I wife shouldn't go out that much and surely not 3 times a week. You are a married couple. When a person goes out a lot with single people then they usually aren't going to be up to anything good. Married couple of course need time away but not to much time away where they find someone else. She also need to pay attention to the child. Her going out could cause problems between the both of you and in turn will also hurt the child.

It sounds a little bit too much, almost half of the nights a week. I can relate to her with it being hard to be a Mum all the time, but maybe once or twice a week might be more balanced. I have some friends who are going through this same sort of thing, where they feel they have been left out of life a little. Its great that she gets to go out often, but you sound like you are feeling she is leaving your son out (and probably you too).
Encourage her to try to do things during the day too (replacing the nights out a little). Maybe try and meet her for lunch some days. Its probably best to ask her how she is feeling and talk about it (she's not doing it out of spite), she may be bored or lonely or feeling left out. But you need to ask her about it.

"Danger ! Danger! Will Robinson.." yes it is a RED flag, you need to call her on it. Are the girlfriends all single?? That would be an even bigger red flag. Are you going out with "the guys" 3 days a week too. perhaps then it's tit for tat.
But more likely she's up to no good.

Being married with no children and going out with the girls 3 nights a week is excessive. She needs to figure out where her priorities are. Good luck and God bless****

and shes what, 22, 23? of course she wants to go out partying instead of doing the same thing shes probably done for th elast 6 years. daughters at school... dinner is on the table... if you dont loosen the leash once in a while...
me and mine have been together 25 years, weve got two girls, and sylvia has been there every day, for them, and me. she deserves to go out with her mates and let her hair down, and who am i to say no.. thats very insecure and rather selfish dont you think? im sure you go out... and whats sauce for the goose...is a new pair of shoes for the gander...
my wife often said..youre not babysitting, theyre your kids too... and shes right. and as a result, my 16yr old actually talks to me, and teh very soon to be 12 daughter, is still a lovely daughter, she already compares her homelife with that of her friends anf their families. we dont fight, the girls squabble... but thats it.
we sit down together once a day to eat, and thats it. we all live seperate but interlocking lives. we like it, it gives each of us autonomy, and the security of knowing mum and dad are there...
and were not like most families, for 23 years ive been in a wheelchair, we spend every day together..that 8395 consecutive days.. aand if she didiint get a break from me and the kids once in a while, well im sure we wouldnt have made it this far together.
you may be married and have kids, but you dont own her. women are a bit like cats, theyre there, because they want to be, they dissapear for hours on end, but they always come home..nearly always. remember that.
and all of you have a happy christmas.
