I like The View it's a cool restaurant that rotates above the city the "view" from up there is beautiful. It's above a hotel I believe though it can be expensive.

The last time I was in NY, approx. 1983 I went to Mama Leoni's (ie spelling may not be correct), it was wonderful. If it still is there I would eat there again.

yes, in my opinion " THE TAVERN ON THE GREEN " is the best place to eat in new york city.
