Take acting classes, go to an agency, get on their books to be an extra. Make sure it is not your day job. Be aware that they will call you at any time and it can really put your life in limbo waiting around. Best to get an agency job like for hospitality at the same time then you can maintain flexible hours so when they call you up you'll be able to rearrange things so you don't end up with conflicts.

If your in school try out for a play if they have any.
Try out for community theater as well.
Make sure you don't just want to be a movie star and that you love acting itself. You can also get scripts and monologues in stores and on amazon.com to practice by yourself first.
Good Luck!

First you have to fall in love with drama and be loved by the teacher. You have to be known by everybody. You can't be afraid to show yourself. I would know this since I'm hannah montana/ miley cyrus.

I'm glad you want to pursue a carrer in hollywood or whatever.
Just don't sell out or forget you friends and family.
Most actors / actresses alienate their past friendships when they get big
Please don't do that.
but if you're succesfull. email me your experiences, and things you've appeared in

You need supportive parents that will take you to auditions and call backs for acting jobs.
