Buffon is arguably the best keeper to ever play the game. He is most certainly the best right now. Barthez has BUTTAFINGAS

I like the French keeper just because Barthez is a great guy, but I would have to say Buffon. Buffon's got many club titles to his name. Also, Barthez has made a lot of errors that cost his team matches. Probably the most memorable was when he was with Manchester United.
He had to go one-on-one with Henry and should have easily had control of the ball when he dove in to take it away from Henry. But instead it bounced of him and Henry got the ball back and easily scored.

Although Buffon is not in very good form at the moment but still he is the best , his skills ,his speed , his accuracy , his intelligence ........... . He is awesome .
Fabien Barthez is not even a very good goal keeper !
