Hi, i am terribly new to this place...and getting real bored...Are there like good places/clubs you can hang out in St Louis...possibly a chance to meet chicks?

There are tons of places to hang out and "meet chicks". Read the RFT. I don't know if you are in to large or small crowds. Downtown is fun if you like large crowds. There are tons of small bars scattered throughout the city and surrounding areas. Don't be afraid to go check them out. Most of the people around here are friendly. If you aren't into the bar scene, volunteer. There are a lot of organizations in need and it's a great way to meet people.

What do you two like to do? What parts of town do you have ties to? Some ideas: The Hill Delmar Loop Katy Trail Fox Theater Busch Stadium The Art Museum Anheuser Busch Cahokia Mounds The Lemp Mansion Botanical Garden The Zoo Powell Symphony Hall Scotttrade Center The Great River Road in Alton, IL and just north of there offer gorgeous scenery. You could get the limo and everyone on one of the ferry boats that go across the Mississippi as well. I'm not sure if all of those places allow for photos such as for weddings, but I do know that some others require permits---your photographer would probably know more, or you can find out on the web. If you haven't settled on a reception hall yet--- a friend of mine got married recently and her reception was at a place down in soulard called "The Franklin Room"----it was absolutely beautiful inside!!!

Hi, and welcome to St. Louis.
Where you hang out sort of will depend on your age, but I'm guessing if you're looking for "chicks," you're probably pretty young.
Read the Riverfront Times. The stories and ads will start getting your familiar with the St. Louis scene.
Supposedly, there are some fun clubs on Washington Street as well as in the U-City Loop.

I would suggest Helen Fitzgeralds. One side is a restaurant with great food. The other side is a bar/dance club. There's such a wide variety of people that go there and a huge age range. When I was single I met someone just about everytime I went. You can stand around and talk to friends, sit at a table by one of the bars, dance, or play one of the many games they have. They have pool tables, air hockey, etc.

The Big Bang and Morgan Street Brewery down on Laclede's Landing is a good place. Club Buca on the Landing is good, too -- lot's of females ready to give it up.
