My brother is in a rehabilitation center and he is still having people that are going to his home. I believe they are stealing from him while he is gone. Is there any way that I can figure out who owns the vehicles that come over without doing anything drastic at this time? I would like to look up the owner of these vehicles. I do not live near his residence, but do know older people that do and have shared to me that there are vehicles parked there at various times. This is an unhealthy environment for me and would like to find information as distant as possible. I want to help my brother, he is a good man, I feel fell into the wrong people. What do you think?

The people going to his place are likely there because they are dealing. Not sure you can find out vehicle owners unless the agency of the state that issues the plate agrees to let you know, which is doubtful. Your best bet is to make an anonymous call (from a pay phone or using a calling card) to the local police where your brother lives and tell them of suspicious activity. Describe it as best as possible, including make and model of cars and license plates if you have them. That way the police can check things out and bust those who are using or dealing. Good luck with your brother. He will need a lot of support when he gets out. He needs to go to AA meetings or NA (naracotics anonymous) meetings as soon as he gets out and get a sponsor. He should also not return to the place where he lived before. He needs a new environment and new friends, both of them drug and alcohol free.

You would have to contact the police and have them investigate your suspicions. That information is private and the DMV will not give it you for any price, it will be a violation.

I Have heard that you can go the the DMV and get that information for a fee, but it may be different in other states.

you can't look up other peoples plates, i would invest in an alarm system for the house, or you could tell the neighbors to call the police when they see suspicious activity

you can call the dmv and the police, neither will tell you who owns the car, but you can report the sightings to the police.
