Nary a one. Although I can see where it might start happening as some Christians are buying into this whole "War on Xmas" crap and have started using "Merry Christmas" in a rather confrontational way.
I appreciate being wished a Merry Christmas in a friendly way--it brightens the day considerably. I do get offended when someone wishes me a Merry Christmas in a surly, "I dare you to be offended" kind of way, and unfortunately I've encountered that more this season than any previous holidays. I wish those people would realize that they are creating the very situation they are complaining about.
Everyone needs to lighten up, tune out Bill Oh Really and his cast of idiots, and just enjoy the season!
Happy Holidays to all!

Media working VERY hard to create controversy....as they always do. However - I am stunned that so many people are offended that they as Christians might be asked to respect the fact that other religions and beliefs have celebrations at this time of year as well. Wonder why the media doesn't pounce on that?

No. Never met a single one. As a matter of fact, I've asked many people of different beliefs and they also are not offended and will usually reply the same back. You would think Jewish people would have the hardest time dealing with it, since its their season too. Yet I've asked several and again, not one offended or even irritated. All too often we in this country allow the big mouth minority speak for us.
And ITA Bonsai Bobby!

Some guy in California set himself on fire in protest....not a media trend, just mass hysteria over the word "Christmas"....I consider myself an atheist more than anything, but I am not offended by the word, so I don't understand what the big hairy deal is....we are supposed to be such a "faithful" country that we cannot allow gays to marry but we are so "not faithful" at the same time that we find the word "Christmas" so evil and vile? Oxymoron, with the emphasis on "moron".....

To actually be offended by a Merry Christmas greeting, would be implicatory of a very questionable and fragile psyche.
I believe,it is the spirit of Anti-Christ,alive and well on planet earth.
yeah,I know..boooos from the crowd..ad infinitum ad nauseum.
