I think that they talk about what they hear most stories about. I think they should pick random people too. Then maybe there would be more positive stuff on the news.

Kinda like at war, if a pretty white woman was taken prisoner, there'd be more news than a black woman. Maybe it's just how fast the story gets there, who knows. The media's a weird place.
