I'm guilty of that, I'll admit, but not about Sasuke - I honestly don't see what's so great about him, except that he provides Naruto with a bit of an added push to train more (nothing like a friendly rivalry, ne?) - but I do have a thing for Iruka-sensei. He's just a Chunin, yeah, but he's also the one that (in my mind) did the most to prevent Naruto from turning out like Gaara. (You know which episodes I'm talking about) Yeah, he isn't a very big player beyond those episodes, but he was there for Naruto at THE crucial moment when Naruto was at complete loss and after having been duped by that other guy (I don't remember his name - the one who tricked Naruto into stealing that scroll from the Hokage after Naruto failed in the beginning) and then listening to that guy saying that he (Naruto) would never be anything but a monster due to the demon sealed inside of him and there was Iruka defending Naruto as adamantly as the other guy was defaming him, if not more. So, yeah, I like Iruka for that reason alone. Besides, I'm 26, so having any kind of a "thing" for one of the younger characters would make me feel like a pedophile... although Neji IS drawn rather nicely...

It's kind of weird I guess, but the selection of real guys is pretty pathetic so anime/manga fans get obsessed with characters that fit their mold of a perfect guy the VOILA you have the rabid fangirls ready to kill for thier fictional object of affection.
Specifically about Sasuke; I'm probably going to get hunted down and mauled by fangirls for this but he's got too many issues... Sometimes cocky then closed off to everyone else, the somewhat normal and back again. I'd hate him if he were real, though I do admit he'd be pretty cute...

okay, first of all, it is kinda weird. although i did once obsess over him, when i first saw the anime, which was in japanese. but im over it. i mean, i dont know where the americans are now in the series, but right now, sasuke aint so good. he turns bad. and all the stinkin fillers suck too. oh yea, about sasuke turning bad, that part really got me and my sister going. we were pretty mad at the path he chose. it angered me! but now im over it. i mean, in the comics(the ones on the net) they get a new guy. he's pretty cool too.

you know. tons of girls at school are "in love" with sasuke and want to marry him. yeah, that's really weird. i mean it'd be a little different if he were real, but he's not, so get over it!

LMAO, yeah it's crazy. I mean, it's ok to like him, as a favorite character, but not obsess with him as if he were real. Those girls are the ones that need a life becuz they have none.

Because, to them, he "IS" real. If the character touches them on an emotional level, he is as real as anyone they meet.

Well, i'm one of sasuke fan lol!!!!!!!!! It depends if they "really" want him. Sasuke is an unusual character, but if he WAS real girls will be drooling for him. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah it kinda is.
some of my friends call eachother names from naruto, and it's actually kind of freaky.
i know, its a pretty cool anime and all
but thats all it is.
