dirty.phoenix, Apple's doesn't have special graphics cards in their machines. Their laptop systems come with ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 graphics with 256MB SDRAM - a very capable card for gaming. Now if you're looking for a specialized super gaming machine, I'd suggest looking to Alienware or Falcon Northwest for laptops. They're super expensive and they weight a ton, but they are custom made machines with bleeding edge components in them.

Apple usually makes a hardware change to their lines approximately every 6 months. They just updated their lines to the latest Intel Core 2 Duo chips with other revisions too about 2 to 3 months ago. I think that's right. So you've got at least another 3 to 4 months before you see something new. Leopard (their new OS) is due out sometime early 2007. Most expect around March or April.

Hope that helps.

My guess is any changes that take place will do so in the spring when Leopard comes out.
