I have learned when it comes to understanding British humour, the Americans find it very difficult to comprehend.

I have learned some people can not take topics on here lightly without getting offended, say mean things, and report people for the stupidest things. What's the purpose of getting upset at people you do not even know and who are just trying to be funny? More people on here need to lighten up and go with the flow.

I have had a couple of good technical questions answered here.
A good point to remember here is that, although there are some silly, childish questions and answers(which make me laugh at how silly some of them are-and I enjoy that!) some of us that like answering questions have a lot of experience in solving problems which somebody younger might have.

I've learned a lot of things, and if nothing else if you browse around through questions it gets you thinking about new stuff.
I've learned that any religious questions really spark off people of whatever religion they pertain to. And a lot about physics that I've wondered about.

That there are many inconsiderate people who don't bother to resolve their own questions, and that half the people on this site are illiterate.
It's really quite distressing.
