I agree with if they've been married a while and lost interest, but it's probably the mans fault. It's always the man's fault.

doorman, that's too broad a generalization. As others have said, some are, some aren't.
To be honest, though, all men will at some time spend at least a little bit of time convinced that their particular significant others are self-absorbed and uninterested in the man's needs. That's just relationships.

The "Barbie" types and the 10s are too busy worrying about their own looks, clothes, cars, etc. to every think of putting someone else's needs first.
The true mature women are caring and family oriented. They want to support everyone in the family so the whole group can live a fulfilling life.
Remember this and choose wisely!

I'm going to stick my neck out and say, yes, but I want to qualify my answer.
Girls born in the last, oh, I don't know, 30 years or so, have been encouraged to think of themselves as the center of the universe (however, so have the boys!). It was (and still is) the fashion in childcare.
Many of these young people have long since grown out of thinking of themselves as princesses, but some have not. And, there are thousands of them.
I feel I'm in a position to judge because I am older, AND female, and I'm privy to the private remarks girls make behind boys' backs.

Not if their partner is a woman. :-) Seriously though, I wouldn't say it is true but I will say women aren't really interested in men. The are more interested in the power play between them and another women. You just happen to be caught in the middle.

False statement, I think women are more interested in their partners needs...I know I am. Only the gold diggers and those snobby girls are selfish and uninterested in their partners.

No statement like that is true for all members of one gender or group. I know many men (and women) who fit that description.

Only the ones who don't realise that they are not the center of the universe. Relationships take 2, if your gal isn't living up to her end there are plenty that will.

Every individual is different. Some women are. Some men are. They aren't characteristics one can assign to an entire gender.

I think most women make the mistake of being the opposite. Self sacrificing and overly interested.
Look for one in the middle. Loves you, loves their self.
