Love is blind because you usually don't see anytihng else but the person you "love". Or if you're being treated badly, you're blind and you can't find a way out of the relationship.
Deaf... im not sure. But somethings that sounds really stupid to other people might sound great to you.

Love is unconditional, we are the only ones that put limits on it.
Love is not blind or deaf, we choose to do that to ourselves.
Open and honest is Love, and yes we get hurt, but if you continue with the unconditional basis of love you will find your wounds heal quickly. To love again and again is amazing, and to be loved is wonderful as well. The feeling cannot be blind, it is so natural, we dont need to be blind, or deaf.

Love is neither, it can not be, it is an illusion, it is not an absolute or an universal constant. You can close your eyes, your ears or fall in to a deep deep coma and make love as you want it or what you want it to be. I think this is the beauty of it. Not love but people who believes they are in love can be blind, deaf and brain dead. I think this is OK if that's what it takes to enjoy it or to enjoy the moment, and as long you can wake up any time you want. I mean, don't you have to be in the right set of mind to really enjoy it? Or maybe i just got carry away talking about only one side of love.

Love could be blind. You will recognize it when you lock eyes with someone ,but while you are doing that a well-lite room gets dark and all you end up seeing is someone's eyeball.
