It depends on the tone of the party. If it's a casual party, your usual attire with a funky Christmas accessory (santa hat, jingle bell earrings, etc) will do the trick. If it's a little dressier, a nice pair of slacks or a skirt with a pretty blouse and a great pair of heels will do nicely.
Nothing wrong with pink, but since it's a holiday, consider a completely different color. Those who look good in pink, look great in coral, blue, emerald, and ruby.
