I don't get angry at people with names that sound different than their personality because eventually, after knowing them for a while, their name becomes of them. Do you know what I mean? If you had to deal with an Alexander all day long that is whiny, I begin to hate the name Alexander rather than the fact that they are holding the name, just because their name, to me, morphs into their personality... Its understandable to be annoyed at a name that does not suit them though!

Dear Sir/Miss,
It is unfortunate that you belabor this in the first place, but lets move onward shall we. Anger is a controllable response. If your girlfriend cuts you off on the highway, you would not be upset, but if someone you dont know does, your pissed. See how you could control it. So master the anger response and know it is not neccessary. Just wave and let it be. Anything else is self destructive. Its you that gets the adrenaline, the fast heart rate, and the early heart attack.

Their parents hoped for one thing when the baby was born. Unfortunately, the kid didn't live up to the meaning of the name. It's not worth getting upset at.
Many names are used so often that their original meanings were lost to the general public long ago.

No...I do not waste my time with low thoughts like this. A name is given to a person when they're born. Why waste your energy being upset or angry over something you have absolutely no control over? Seems pointless to me!

Unfortunately, parents hope kids will grow into their names. No one expects to have an ugly , stupid or trampy child.
don't be angry , a name doesn't make a man. It takes a man to make a name.

I see your point. I have also noticed that a name a person goes by is determined by their personality. Like most Billy's I've known were jerks yet I have known Wills and Williams who were great people.

OH MY GOSH! Totally! That is so weird! I thought no one else felt like that! There's this girl I go to school with! She is scrawny, ugly, annoying, and immature! And her name is Aerwyn! It's a made up name, but isn't it beautiful! She doesn't deserve it!
