as a graduate student, i always wonder what my opportunities could be in the case i don´t want or can´t continue through the phd. i already have a master´s, specifically in biorganic chemistry / biotechnology. i have reserach experience in this field and others as material science and organic and inorganic chemistry. any suggestions on what kind of job i could apply to and what my salary would be like?

Chemical engineers -- $52,884
Chemists, except biochemists -- $46,696
Biological and life scientists -- $36,192

Does that help? Seems a little low to me, but I could be wrong.

You can go to salary.com and create a free account and get lots of info., but I don't know what kind of job you can get with that kind of major. Maybe a scientist? I don't know :)
