The bi-directional box is checked and there is communication between the computer and the printer. It will say, printing started, and printing complete but nothing prints. Yes I do have paper and cartridges in the printer too. Is there another setting I may have gotten off, it always worked before this week.

Open up your printer option box

depends on your OS
Start- options - printers
XP start- control panel - printers

See if the printer is set up for your X73 and checked as the default printer.
(you may be printing to another type of printer)
If the printer is not in the printer option box - you need to run printer setup (add printer) again and select it as your default.
