I'm listening to the big "showdown" on MP3 right now. Between talking as if we can see what they're doing and the dead air this is horrendous. Who else thinks Stern should be a low rate local morning show host?

I have listened to both and I have to admit that Don Imus had never made me burst out laughing he has EVER said. I find him pompus, arrogant, and uncreative. While some of his political commentary is mildly entertaining I don't think his intelligence allows him to express himself in a very humorous way.

Howard Stern on the other hand, while often overly crude, and sometimes patently offensive, has me laugh out loud more times than I could count. His sense of humor is based on a good education and common sense. He sees the world as it really is and is seldom fooled by pretenses of phonies. He has exposed Kathie Lee Gifford, Rosie O'Donnell, Dr. Laura Schelsinger, and others and has been right on every time.

I have yet to see Imus expose anyone.

His humor is atrocious, and also a little too "anally oriented" for me to believe Howard's claim of being a heterosexual....Buuuuut, to each his own, I guess.

I could care less about either of them.
