I am a huge fan of the show, and become super excited when reruns come on. Why was it cancelled? Are the full seasons available on DVD?

Actually after the last season was put out they wrapped up the story with a TV-movie called Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars. It was a good movie, they used a decent budget for the special effects and space battles, that were a bit better than the show's usual FX. I think all of the show's seasons, plus The Peacekeeper Wars movie are all on DVD now.
It was a good show, one of my favorite quotes comes from that show...

One of the funniest set of lines from Peacekeeper Wars is when Arynn goes into labor in the middle of a shoot out.
Aeryn: "Ooow. So how long does it usually take for human women to give birth?"
John: "...sometimes its days."
Aeryn: "...I've KILLED men for less! Ooow!"
I think that's one of the neat things about the newest seasons of SG-1 they brought in Claudia Black (Aeryn) and Ben Browder (John) from Farscape. The two of them, as new characters, add a lot of humor, wit, and chemistry with the original characters.

That was a great show. I love it, I have all the episodes on DVD, as well the movie. I do not know why it was canceled.

Oh wow I love this show. I have not seen it since it got cancelled but I watched it religiously when it was out..
