Do not admit guilt! You don`t know how fast you where going, because you where watching the road. You don`t know the speed, because you are not from the spot you are pulled over and you was watching the road. Also pull over with your car nose out so the officer can see your hands before they get out. I have done this three times and twice they thought I was drunk but when I explain, no ticket.

Here is what I know about moving violations, as I have a had a few:
I once got a ticket for speeding. I was going down hill with the flow of traffic and the officer wrote the I was going 4 miles over the limit. On my ticket there was a date that the officer wrote, it was court date. I showed up to contest my ticket, but the officer was not there. Apparently, officers have to write these court dates on their days off. (It would suck to be a patrol officer, would it?) He decided to actually take the day off, so without his testimony the judge threw out the ticket. He must have under estimated me at the tender age of 16. :)
Another time, I sped and got caught, I was going 6 miles over the limit. I found out you can ask for court supervision. What that means is you would plead guilty and pay a fine, but after six months the court will check your record again to see if you had any other moving violations. If you do not have any other violations they will remove the ticket from your record.
That is about all I know unless you want to always drive around with just enough cash to pay for the ticket right there. Maybe then the officer will "forget" to do the paperwork.
I hope this helps you, but you may just want to slow down a little.

Make sure they actually caught you on radar. If you negotiated the ticket down any (like 20 miles over the limit to 10 miles over), it could be contestable. Although I don't believe him, someone told me that if an officer knocks it down that much that it's easy to convince a judge that the officer was "corrupt" enough to do that; therefore, the ticket is null and void. But I think a judge will just look at you, call you stupid, and move on.
Someone else (some show on Comedy Central) went back, painted over the sign, took a picture of it, used it, and got the ticket thrown out because the sign was unreadable.
Personally, I'm a speeder. I've been caught twice. I just suck it up and pay it.

You should at least appear in court and explain the situation to the judge. If the officer doesn't show, you will likely get the ticket dismissed - though that's not necessarily a given anymore. The officer is going to have to explain how he kept his sights on you and also explain how a 'white Nissan sedan' isn't like any other on the road at the same time if he lost sight of you for even a few seconds during the pursuit.

Don't you know by now that speed kills? You get to where
you're going almost as quick by staying within the speed
limits. I do, and I don't have to give a thought about being
stopped by policemen for speeding tickets, cutting in and
out of lanes, wreckless driving, following too closely, etc.
I hope you don't get any loopholes and have to pay through
the nose. I'm tired of speeders on the highways who cause
accidents. It's rediculous.

If you aren't a habitual speeder you can talk to the DA on the morning of your court date to see if you can get it reduced to a non-insurance rate raising non-point infraction. I paid a lawyer the last time and got out of two at once.
You can drive as fast as you want to. The law just defines consequences if you get caught.

You can legally drive no faster and no slower than the speed limit, and you will not get another speeding ticket. I guarantee it!
