Bush will not be able to protect anyone.

The US Government has deployed, and is using Depleted Uranium (DU) weapons.

These weapons are relatively safe until detonated. Once the DU ignites, a fine powder is produced. This powder is fine enough to be picked up by the wind and transported around the globe.

The powder is radioactive and emits Alpha radiation. Alpha emitters pose zero risk outside of the body, as skin provides adequate shielding from the short range, but very energetic, particles.

If ingested into the body, by breathing the dust in, or eating or drinking contaminated foodstuffs, this form of radiation is deadly. Soft tissue has no protection as the contaminated particles emit the alpha radiation.

Do a Yahoo Search for Depleted Uranium Weapons and read for yourself

Saudi Royal Family is well protected by their own private army guards as otherwise they would have already been thrown out of the country. Moreover, their policy is not totally pro-Americans and in the recent past, they have projected that they have the mind of their own. They have done the country an invaluable contribution.

Wouldn't that just be icing on the cake, using our military to protect the people who attacked the World Trade Center? It would be the irony of ironies.
