The positive aspects of a no-fault divorce is a low to no attourneys fees.
Judges usually will rubber stamp your divorce when no attourneys are present and the offer of divorce seems reasonable to both parties. They would rather not have to try a divorce case and will often offer assistance in speeding up the process, however the goal of just about every state is to keep the marriage intact and therefore mandate a waiting period (cooling off period) before the divorce is final. It should cost $100,000 to get married, and $10.00 for divorce. There would probably be less divorces in America if that were the case, as there would be less marriages taking place.

Contrary to what belladun believes divorce is not always devistating, it can be almost uplifiting. I know because I've been there and done that. My divorce wasn't half as "devistating" as the last ten years of my marriage. Anyway. I guess one of the more postive aspects of no fault would be the lack of a lengthy court battle.
